A celebration of spring would not be the same without... pinwheels! They're perfect for breezy days such as today. My crafty sidekick (daughter M) and I followed this lovely pattern by Heather Bailey.
I suggest using the 18 gauge wire included in Heather's materials list. I used a 24 gauge wire since I had it on hand, but it kept breaking off when I was twisting it. Nonetheless, it was a fun project.
There are many things to celebrate this month - springtime, kids' spring break, Easter and my daughter's golden birthday. It's a time for gathering with family and friends and having a party.
And it's a time for remembering God's love for us.
I'm doing it... I'm going to sneak in more time and escape to my little corner in my home where I can create and make pretty things. Even if in the wee hour of the night...
